THON

Sailing THON is currently engaged in its third year of fundraising for Penn State's annual Dance Marathon. For those unfamiliar, this organization claims the title of largest student-run philanthropy in the world, having raised more than $52 million to benefit pediatric cancer since its creation in 1977. Sailing THON is attempting to exceed last year's total of $8,000 in anticipation of a 46 hour no-sitting-no-sleeping event from February 20-22.
