Sailing is Underway

Members of the PSU Sailing Club have been enjoying the spring sailing season thus far with four trips to the lake and two regattas. Currently we have plans for three more Sunday Sailing excursions and four more regattas. Stay posted for regatta results and updates.

Our Alumni Banquet will take place on Saturday April the 24th with the regatta on Sunday the 25th. We hope to see you there!

Sailing Update

Please note: Our first Sunday Sailing is now going to occur on Sunday the 28th. We had to push the beginning of our season back a week to comply with park regulations.

Spring Sailing Season Near!

The Sailing Club will be moving its fleet to Lake Glendale on March 27th, with the first Sunday Sailing in 2010 to occur on the 28th. A reminder to everyone who wants to sail that Kristin needs a copy of your insurance card, and a filled out, current participation agreement. Also, remember that we have multiple regattas on the schedule here and that you should contact Jake if you would like to represent Penn State in one of them.

THON!

As many of you know, THON was this past weekend. The Sailing Club would like to thank all involved; everyone who helped out, went canning, came to THON to cheer on the dancers, and especially those who donated toward the total of over $7.8 million! We would also like to thank our three THON chairs, Alex, Bonnie, and Jenny. Without them our club would not have been able to accomplish what it did this year relative to THON.
